  • Los Angeles FC vs Atlanta United: Yes – Much was made of Atlanta’s signing of Pity Martinez, but the Argentine has failed to live up to expectation. Until now, that is, given that he was Man of the Match last time out and has now assisted in three of their last four games. He and namesake Josef (six gals in four games) are beginning to strike up a winning combination. Here they travel to a LA side without a clean sheet in eight games, although the MLS’ top scorers have blasted 16 in four at the other end of the pitch.
  • Houston Dynamo vs Seattle Sounders: Yes – According to the advanced stats that count Seattle have found a real attacking spark of late, aided by the return to form of frontman Raul Ruidiaz, and they will be hoping that follows them to Texas where they take on a Houston side who are no strangers to a goal or two themselves. The hosts have a Leagues Cup tie against Club America that will be played in 34°temperatures – could fatigue be a factor?
  • San Jose Earthquakes vs Colorado Rapids: Yes – San Jose look likely every time they take to the pitch at the moment, with Vako, Magnus Eriksson and Chris Wondolowski all in fine fettle. They have bludgeoned 13 goals in their last six outings. But Colorado have scored in 19/21 games this term, and so they cannot be discounted.
  • Falkenbergs vs GIF Sundsvall: Yes – A bottom of the table clash in the Swedish Allsvenskan brings together two teams that cannot defend. Falkenbergs have been beaten 2-6 and 0-4 within their last three games, while Sundsvall’s perilous position is based upon the fact they have kept just one clean sheet in 17 games this term.
  • AFC Eskilstuna vs Hammarby: Yes – Hammarby’s incredible run continues! They have shipped two or more goals in each of their last five games, with 3-2, 5-2 and 6-2 wins in their last three outings. Eskilstuna are no great shakes, however they do bring a positive home record to the table.
