  • New York Red Bulls vs Real Salt Lake: Yes – The cavalry is arriving for the Red Bulls, with Bradley Wright-Phillips and Vincent Bezecourt returning from injury. They will boost a New York frontline which has blasted 14 goals in their last. Salt Lake, meanwhile, are no strangers to finding the net themselves, with eight scored in their last three games including six different scorers.
  • Columbus Crew vs New York City: Yes – Columbus have lost eight of their last nine games, and that is a reflection of how vulnerable they are defensively – not aided by injuries to Afful, Jimenez, Valenzuela and Francis. Some punters will be backing NYC to win here, but the Crew are dangerous in attack and so BTTS is a smarter option: New York’s front three of Heber, Mitrita and Moralez really is top drawer.
  • DC United vs San Jose Earthquakes: Yes – DC play two games in 72 hours – this being the second – so hopefully they will find a way to play three or more of their usual forward line of Rooney, Acosta, Arriola and Rodriguez. The hosts will find San Jose a handful here: Chris Wondolowski has scored six goals in his last two games, while Magnus Eriksen has been a real threat since moving into a number ten role.
  • Portland Timbers vs Los Angeles FC: Yes – It’s hallelujah for Portland, who after 12 away games finally get to play at their newly opened Providence Stadium. It’s a great time for them too, with form improving and new signing Brian Fernandez scoring three times in just 115 minutes in a green shirt. LAFC, meanwhile, average 2.33 goals per game this season, and it’s hard to imagine any opposition preventing them from scoring right now.
  • Sirius vs Djurgarden: Yes – Sirius’ six home games in the Swedish Allsvenskan this term have witnessed 26 goals (11 for, 15 against), which is a staggering number that highlights their front foot approach. Djurgarden are one of the better teams in the division so will fancy their chances of finding the net, but can they keep Sirius’ forward line at bay?
