Saturday BTTS Acca for the 23rd November

Blurred Football Hitting Goal Net

We’re looking for a ‘Both Teams to Score’ coupon this Saturday, with the hope being that all the games remain on as the weather begins to bite.

With this sort of bet, it has to be all about the numbers (and some luck). BTTS coupons are entertaining and fun for a Saturday afternoon. We need plenty of teams to make it pay well, meaning we cannot check on all the team news and the intricacies of each and every fixture.

So, what do we look at? Well, a good start is the total goals per game average of the teams playing and home, and the same for the ones playing away. Hopefully, enough of those with big numbers are playing each other.

The Championship is pretty poor in that regard currently, but there are plenty of other options for us. Total goals per game is important then, though we always need a comfort check to make sure the goals aren’t all flowing one way.

The top teams in each league are often omitted as they don’t concede many goals, especially at home. The same can be said of the bad teams playing away who don’t score enough.

Who’s Made the List?

The Championship is poor for this kind of bet, stats-wise. There simply aren’t enough goals knocking around in England’s second tier at the moment. Win bets remain possible, but Both Teams to Score coupons aren’t really recommended.

We can see already that whoever comes up from the Championship may struggle next season. We have nothing from that league this week, but there are plenty of goals knocking around in Fulham’s home games as well as Wolverhampton’s away fixtures in the Premier League and so we have started there.

Fulham v Wolves BTTS Betting

We know Fulham can and will attack the numbers are good, but this is all about Wolves. They’ve scored 7 in 5 games on the road, so they’re capable, but they have conceded 13. If the away team scores, especially first, we’d be confident of that bet coming in.

Away from Craven Cottage, we dip down the leagues for more where we find a good opportunity in the shape of Peterborough v Reading in League One. There are short odds on a ‘yes’ bet there and we can see exactly why.

There are similar sentiments when it comes to Bolton v Blackpool in the same division, though we’re less sure why such a good price was offered about Lincoln v Wycombe. Lincoln’s home games are averaging 3 goals each, while Wycombe’s away fixtures are averaging 3.85 which is very solid indeed.

Lincoln v Wycombe BTTS Betting

Grimsby at home and Colchester away both average 3.42 goals per game in League Two, while Wimbledon have scored 17 in 7 at home in that division. They play Walsall this week, who sit fourth in the league and who have scored 12 goals in 7 on the road. It would be no surprise to see both find the net.

There are some free scorers in the National League, though the timing of who’s playing who isn’t ideal this week. One game of interest however is Fylde v Ebbsfleet. Both teams average not too far from 4 goals per game home v away, while similar can be said of St Johnstone and Kilmarnock who meet in the Scottish Premiership.

The Bet

BTTS Acca BetslipAs mentioned, there weren’t too many match-ups this Saturday featuring teams that are confirmed high scorers at home versus the highest scorers away. That’s especially true of the Championship.

What we did find however were plenty of games involving teams with the highest-scoring encounters overall, home versus away. With that in mind, we recommend this bet:

Both teams to score ‘yes’ on:

  • Fulham v Wolverhampton Wanderers
  • Peterborough United v Reading
  • Bolton Wanderers v Blackpool
  • Lincoln City v Wycombe Wanderers
  • Grimsby Town v Colchester United
  • AFC Wimbledon v Walsall
  • AFC Fylde v Ebbsfleet United
  • St Johnstone v Kilmarnock

The bet should come to well over 40/1 this time, but make sure you shop around in order to get the best possible odds.
